Key Duties
- Support the management of day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and Group policies.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and management reports.
- Review payment runs, employee expense claims and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cashier functions.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and facilitate audit processes.
- Handle all taxation matters to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing finance processes and drive process improvements and automation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for strategic projects.
- Supervise and coach a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in financial reporting and management accounting.
- Experience in the aviation industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience in Oracle ERP solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good commands in written and spoken Chinese and English.
