Duties

• Lead and oversee all mission critical 24/7 IT infrastructure (Linux, Windows, SAN, networking, database and cloud) support activities, projects initiation, justification and execution
• Recommend, formulate and develop infrastructure strategies, policies and operations, aiming to balance stability, security, cost and innovation
• Manage budget, headcount, technologies portfolio and resources planning for multiple projects covering different infrastructure disciplines
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity team to test, acquire, implement and maintain cost-effective solutions to protect the IT infrastructure from cyber threats
• Proactively lead a sizeable team and vendors to deliver high quality solutions and services with appropriate level of resilience and disaster recovery capabilities
• Present, explain and justify infrastructure direction, roadmap and initiatives to senior management, shareholders and external consultants
• Communicate effectively with senior management, users, IT professionals, auditors and IT vendors
• Liaise and negotiate with IT vendors and system integrators to derive cost effective solutions

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computer Science or industry related discipline
• Minimum 10+ years proven IT leadership, project delivery and support experience in 24/7 mission critical infrastructures in sizeable ITIL compliant organizations
• Technically competent and highly proficient in multiple infrastructure disciplines
• Self-driven with continuous improvement mindset on quality, efficiency and capability
• Strong problem solving, vendor management and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in managing and transforming large scale IT infrastructures
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop people and teams
• Competent in delivering results through ownership and drive
• Good presentation skills and able to explain technologies to non-technical people
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
