IT Specialist (IT Service Desk)

Duties

  • Lead in-house IT service desk and service provider team to provide desk side support for 24/7 warehouse operations and office users
  • Resolve incidents and fulfil service requests in accordance with pre-defined SLA
  • Maintain client devices and peripherals in good working condition with up-to-date security patches
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory of client devices and peripherals
  • Prepare and maintain service desk standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Handle procurement of client related products and services
  • Obtain procurement quotations, prepare justification and handle delivery in accordance with corporate procurement guidelines and procedures
  • Propose and deploy client-side solutions in IT and office renovation projects
  • Continuously simplify and automate service desk processes and procedures

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ solid experience in service desk support/end user computing, preferably in a sizable organization
  • Strong technical knowledge on ITSM system, Microsoft products (Windows 10, Active Directory, Outlook, Microsoft 365), MDM solutions, iOS/Android, Video Conferencing solutions, 2FA, Follow-You Printing solutions, Client endpoint security solutions, ManageEngine, Citrix remote access solutions
  • Experience in managing outsourced IT service desk
  • ITIL certification holder is preferred
  • Good communication skills with end users and vendors
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Senior IT Analyst
