Engineer – Building and Structure

Duties

  • Implement project works of fitting out, repair and maintenance, plumping and drainage system, other facilities within the company.
  • Rectify daily faults smoothly by coordinating with internal departments on a proper work schedule and ensuring company’s operation is least affected.
  • Prepare tender documents and monitor tendering process, handle project set-up and ensure installation works are implemented on schedule.
  • Track work progress and costs, minimize project risks, maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Undertake acceptance procedure of new facility / installation against specifications.
  • Conduct user training for user departments concerned before work handover.
  • Ensure the project works’ full compliance with the established regulations and standards.
  • Provide information on warranty claims and feedback on the follow up actions.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ engineering or project experience, preferably in fitting out, repair and maintenance, plumping and drainage system or related disciplines
  • Degree/ Higher Diploma in architecture, interior design, building services, electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Willing to perform night shift duties when necessary
