Technician Trainee

Our Technician Trainee Programme will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure the optimal functioning of our cargo handling systems, mobile equipment, and other facilities at all times and help us meet the evolving demands of our SuperTerminal 1 in the Hong Kong International Airport.

With constant supervision and guidance, technician trainees will gain hands-on experience throughout the various sections of the Engineering and Facilities Services Department. On successful completion of the 2-year technician trainee programme, you will be appointed to a section of the Engineering and Facilities Services Department as a technician, where you will have the opportunity to further extend your practical experience.

Programme highlights

The Technician Trainee will:

  • Undergo a 2-year training programme with on-the-job training and assignments attached to various teams;
  • Provide maintenance services on terminal equipments and facilities;
  • Assist in engineering projects and system development.

Upon successful completion of the 2-year programme, the trainee will be promoted to Technician.

Qualifications

  • Higher Diploma holder in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering or related disciplines
  • Hard working with positive attitude
  • Energetic and willing to take challenges
  • Shift duties are required (including overnight)
