Senior Engineer (Cargo Handling System)

Requirement:

  • Degree holders in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • 7 years' engineering experience with at least 2 years at supervisory level.
  • Highly organized and strong communication skills.
  • Familiar with local regulations and E&M standards.
  • Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibility:

  • Responsible for daily maintenance and enhancement of Cargo Handling System (CHS), including provide technical support to emergency breakdown as well as corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure the maintenance programs are cost-effective and attainable.
  • Ensure the cargo handling system is serviced and maintained according to sets of standards and specifications.
  • Plan and implement the CHS and equipment upgrade to improve the overall efficiency.
  • Review spare parts inventory level to optimize parts and tools meeting maintenance requirements.
  • Coordinate with concerned parties and supervise contractor performance for overhaul works.
  • Ensure to achieve full compliance with the relevant legislation and ISO/OHSAS standards at working area.
  • Supervise and motivate staff to achieve the highest performance. Provide appropriated on job trainings to develop staff.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
