Senior Quality Assurance Officer

Key Duties

  • Conduct audits and inspections on operational quality and safety performance to ensure compliance with regulatory, ISAGO, airline and third-party requirements.
  • Identify, correct and/or stop quality and safety malpractices and provide guidance to prevent recurrence.
  • Lead internal management system audits, including planning, execution, evaluation, reporting and follow-up activities.
  • Monitor company performance indicators, identify adverse trends and follow up with relevant departments to achieve performance targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and achieve KPIs.
  • Analyze audit findings, incidents and performance trends to identify systemic issues, communicate recommendations, and ensure effective CAPA implementation and closure.
  • Coordinate, prepare for and participate in customer airline, certification and external audits, and monitor the External Audit Management System (EAMS).
  • Maintain the company's documentation management system and ensure manuals, procedures and records comply with regulatory, industry, airline, internal and certification requirements.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in the development and revision of manuals and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of Management Review meetings and related reports.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct quality and safety training programmes.
  • Act as the delegate of the Manager – Quality Assurance during his/her absence.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in any discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance and/or safety-related functions, exposure in aviation industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, safety management systems and audit processes is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Able to perform outdoor and shift duties, including overnight shifts.
  • Preferably holder of a valid Hong Kong Driving Licence Class 1 & 2.
  • Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Quality Assurance Officer.
